Jennifer Rosengard was born in Sacramento, California and attended California State University, Sacramento where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. Jennifer has held jobs of the investigative nature, and has spent the last 10 years as an insurance investigator. She grew up with dogs and cats in the household and is an animal lover & owner, prior shelter volunteer, independent foster and advocate. She spent three years working with the Rancho Cucamonga Animal Center in their kitten nursery. She is an avid sports fan, is married to Steve Rosengard and resides in Upland, California.

Jennifer is the President, Director of the San Bernardino Pet Resource Center and a member of the board.

Janine Nielsen was born in Boise, Idaho and raised in Montclair, California. She currently resides with her husband, Billy in Redlands California. Janine  is a realtor and co-owner of Empire Window Pros Inc. Janine grew up rescuing cats in very poor neighborhoods where she resided. She rescued her very first shelter kitty in 2001 from the Redlands City Shelter and saw the needs of the San Bernardino City Shelter and began rescuing there in May of 2014. It was at the San Bernardino city shelter, that she met Sara Alley and forged a friendship to begin saving and adopting out shelter animals. Janine still rescues and fosters cats and kittens from San Bernardino City Shelter. Janine has seen firsthand the need for subsidized spay and neuter services, and has joined our board in order to help us to continue to provide those necessary vouchers to the underserved populations.

Marie Jenkins Schleffler is Director of TNR of Community Cats & Barnyard Guardians and a member of the board.

Sara Alley was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Texas Christian University. She has spent most of her professional life as a paralegal, and she is also a Licensed Vocational Nurse. She has always been an animal lover and advocate. Upon moving to Rancho Cucamonga, California a few years ago, she became involved with the San Bernardino City shelter as a volunteer foster and transporter, and she has helped set up retail adoption venues where shelter animals can be showcased. She is married to Darin Alley, and they have three children. She resides with her family in Grover Beach, California.

Stephen Rosengard was born in Chicago, IL. He graduated from Bonita Vista High School with a life time membership in The California Scholarship Federation. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California at Santa Barbara. The majority of Steve’s career has been in financial services. Starting with Dean Witter Reynolds, he spent 10 years as a licensed stockbroker. Afterward he was an account executive with a technology firm specializing in leasing. For the past 13 years, he has been a business manager for Wells Fargo in automotive finance. Steve is married to Jennifer Rosengard and has become an avid animal lover with both dogs and cats in Upland, California.
