Our primary mission is to reduce the shelter overpopulation with spaying and neutering, and providing intervention assistance to keep pets out of shelters.  Lack of resources should not be a reason that a pet owner feels they have no other option than to surrender their pet to an animal shelter.  Everyone deserves the unconditional love and companionship that a pet provides.

We Support The Following Organizations, Their Residents & Their Pets:

Step Up On Second, Inc. is an organization that focuses on assisting the homeless to get off of the streets and into housing.  We assist the San Bernardino/Inland Empire division with their clients that have pets. A majority of the residents in the program have little to no income at all and everything they have is subsidized through assistance from other organizations. We provide pet food and supplies every month, in addition to spay & neuter services and emergency vet bill assistance.

The San Bernardino County Department of Public Health have an innovative initiative called InnROADS (Innovative Remote Onsite Assistance Delivery).  They have four teams that walk the homeless encampments throughout the entire county and assist with the various needs of the residents. They provide resources for financial aid, mental health services, medical and drug and alcohol services. Many homeless have pets for both protection and companionship. We load up the teams every month with 400 to 800 pounds of dog and cat food, leashes and collars, jackets and sweaters and any other needed supplies for the pets living in these encampments.

March Veterans Village, located at March Air Force Base, houses veterans who have little to no income and many have disabilities.  There are several veterans who have cats and dogs for companionship. Every month, we deliver pet food, leashes and collars and any other needed supplies for their on site pantry.

There are several low income residents at the Magnolia @ 9th Senior Apartments in San Bernardino who have companion pets but, for one reason or another, are unable to drive to our monthly pantry distributions. So, we bring the supplies to them. Or rather, our volunteer Jackie does. Every month, she loads up her car and takes cat and dog food and other supplies to the residents.

Once a month, a volunteer from the Rocky Point Fellowship Church in Mentone by the name of Kristy, comes and picks up pet food for both their parishioners who need assistance and the local homeless who seek refuge and services at their church.
